Vaasan Sähkö Group has a whistleblowing channel that offers the company’s customers, contractual partners, employees, and any other party the opportunity to report observations in which the whistleblower feels that Vaasan Sähkö Group’s Code of Conduct or current laws and regulations may be violated. Reporting is confidential and allows you to submit a report completely anonymously.
How to submit a report
You can select whether you want to submit the report anonymously or by name. Include all relevant information related to your observation, such as:
- The accurate time of the event
- Whether the suspected misconduct has been one-off or continuous
- Which persons or parties are involved in the suspected misconduct
- Are there any other witnesses to the event that led to the suspected misconduct?
If you have material related to your suspicions, you can attach them. More detailed instructions on how to submit a report can be found here (in Finnish).
Please note that the reporting channel is not for customer feedback or complaints related to our operations or service, or fault reports of electricity or district heating outages.
Processing and confidentiality of the report
All reports submitted through the reporting channel are treated confidentially and the reporting procedure is technically encrypted. If you report anonymously, your anonymity will be ensured throughout the process.
Further information can be found in the register description of the reporting channel (in Finnish).
It is our policy to comply with laws and ethical values in all our operations, and we take any suspicion of potentially illegal or unethical activity seriously. We therefore encourage you to bring any suspicions to our attention so that we can prevent or rectify any wrongdoing.
The technical implementation and functionality of the reporting channel is maintained by an external partner, Webropol.
