general electricity or night-time electricity?

Our price list is based on two methods of metering: general electricity and night-time electricity. Electricity suppliers and power grid companies may also use other terms, but they mean the same things. For example, night-time electricity may be called time-of-day electricity. General electricity is typical for blocks of flats and terraced houses; for detached houses heated with oil, wood, geothermal heat or district heating; and for holiday homes.

It is suitable for homes that have no electric heating or electricity consumption is low or occurs mostly during the day. The price of electricity using general electricity is the same regardless of the time of day or season.

If you are not sure about the metering type for your address, we recommend choosing general electricity, as this is the most typical metering type.

Night-time electricity is generally used by those who have electric heating and in properties where a lot of energy is consumed during the night. Night-time electricity has two energy prices: daytime and night-time electricity price, of which night-time electricity is cheaper. Night-time electricity is for customers that have metering type based on a difference between the day and night prices. With us, night-time electricity is valid from 10 pm to 7 am.
