We have switched to partially electronic customer communication
Our customer letters are now sent out in electronic form to a large part of our customers. The terms of the industry now enable electronic communication in more cases than before, which is also visible in Vaasan Sähkö’s customer communications.
For many customers, the change is long-awaited. As a customer, you still have the opportunity to continue with paper-based communication at no extra cost, if you wish.
Please note that the change does not apply to invoices. We send them in the same way as before, and according to the customer’s choice on paper or electronically.
I don’t want customer letters electronically, how can I get them on paper in the future?
We recommend all our customers to use electronic services. However, if you want to receive our letters by post in the future, you can do so completely free of charge.
If you have not provided us with your email address and you do not use Kivra or OmaPosti services, you do not need to do anything. In this case, customer letters will be sent automatically in the mail.
If you have already received a letter electronically, but would like to receive the letters by post in the future, please contact our customer service.
Can I get my customer letters sent to OmaPosti or Kivra?
Yes, you can. If you are using OmaPosti or Kivra, our electronically sent customer letters will be sent to the e-service in question, provided that you have allowed Vaasan Sähkö to be a sender*.
Please note that our newsletters sent by email cannot be sent to OmaPosti or Kivra.
*) Different services work in different ways. You may either need to allow a single sender or block one that you don’t want to receive messages from in the specific service.
Can I read the customer letters in the app or the online service?
Unfortunately, at the moment we are unable to send customer-specific letters to the app or the online service. We are, however, developing our digital services and hoping to be able to introduce that feature in the future.
Where can I read the customer letter if my email address has become outdated?
If you have not forbidden electronic communication and you do not use Kivra or OmaPosti services, we will first and foremost try to send customer letters by email. If you have not provided us with your email address, or it has become outdated or the mailbox is full, the letter will be sent as paper in the post.
If you would like to update your email address, please contact our customer service.
Why can I not respond to an electronic customer letter message?
Customer letters are sent through a distribution partner in bulk. We will therefore not receive your possible answer. If you want to contact us regarding a customer message you have received, please contact our customer service.
